The place was packed and then we headed up the block to the Mark Bar for my streetshadows exhibit

WG Magazine cover art by subtexture

My friend Genia Gould who edits WG Magazine, asked me to do a piece for the Summer Music Issue.
I took one of my guiter stencil pieces and added some of my sketches of dude’s rocking out.

The magazine is free and you can find it in bars and stores around Williamsburg.

Contagious Graphics just printed up some new stickers for me. One is based on a Roadsign Girl piece and the other is the new subtexture logo i’ve worked up.

Greenpoint is blowing up!

subtexture and autovac have teamed up and reworked a classic punk rock album cover to represent Greenpoint to the fullest!

We’ve reprinted them using discharge ink which is nice and soft (instead of that nasty plastisol ink)

Shirts are Hanes Fashion Fit, 100% soft cotton (similar to American Apparel)

Greenpoint Mac-off promo

Back in March some of the bars in Greenpoint got together and hosted the “Great Greenpoint Mac-off”
I was asked do design some posters and ads to promote the event.

The art director and illustrator of Yellow Submarine just passed away.
Oddly I just watched it for the first time in years when I stayed up at Mike Rose’s house last weekend.
I watched it with all his kids, and was singing along through the whole film. The kids were surprised that I knew all the words.
